For the 16th consecutive day Israel’s horrendous carnage continues to claim more lives in the embattled Gaza Strip as its army has escalated its attacks on more homes and neighborhoods.
Since last night and the dawn of Sunday hundreds of citizens were martyred and many others were injured in massive aerial attacks on different areas of Gaza.
According to the latest statistics on Sunday the death toll climbed to over 4800 martyrs and the number of the injured to over 13600 civilians. Most of the casualties are children women and elderlies.
The death toll in Gaza is likely to increase as the Israeli occupation army continues to launch deadly and devastating attacks on different areas.
According to the interior ministry in Gaza casualties were reported in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza following an Israeli attack on a house. 30 civilians lived in that house.
Local sources also said that an Israeli warplane bombed an apartment building in an-Nasser neighborhood in Gaza City.
In southern Gaza medical sources reported that seven civilians including four women and one child were killed and many others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on a house belonging to the family of al-Astal in Khan Yunis.
Four other citizens from the family of Abu Taha were also killed in an Israeli attack on their home in al-Manara neighborhood in Khan Yunis.
A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) for his part said that six citizens including two children and three women were martyred and several others were injured in Israeli attacks on two homes in the neighborhoods of al-Janinah and as-Siymat in Rafah.
Hundreds of other casualties were also reported on Sunday in intensive Israeli aerial and artillery attacks on homes shelters bakeries restaurants mosques and civilian gatherings in different areas of Gaza.
