Al-Azhar Al-Sharif in Egypt has called on the Islamic World in a press release on Wednesday to extend all kinds of support to Palestine and to reconsider its relations with the &ldquoarrogant&rdquo West.
The statement which followed the Israeli bloodbath on Tuesday night said that the Arab and Islamic countries should utilize their wealth and potentials in support Palestine and its people.
It said that the Palestinians should remain steadfast in face of the Israeli &ldquobrutal attacks&rdquo and never be weakened when confronting what it called &ldquojungle animals&rdquo.
500 Palestinians were killed on Tuesday night when Israel bombed the al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza while hundreds others were wounded. The carnage led to wide-scale condemnation and worldwide anger.
