A horde of extremist Jewish settlers on Sunday pitched several tents after bulldozing over 15 dunums of Palestinian land in Khilat Taha area southwest of al-Khalil under military protection.
According to local sources settlers from the illegal settlement of Negohot which is located between the villages of Deir Samet and Beit Awa bulldozed swaths of land belonging to al-Masalmeh family in Khilat Taha and placed several tents on them.
The same settlers also brutalized local shepherds and forced them to leave the area at gunpoint while photojournalist Mash&rsquohur al-Wahwah was injured after Israeli soldiers assaulted him as he was covering the settler violations in the area.
