The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) is seeking 23.8 million USD for its multi-sectoral emergency response following a massive Israeli attack against the Jenin refugee camp.
In a press statement Director of UNRWA Affairs in the West Bank Adam Bouloukos said that the UNRWA needs more funds to be able to restore basic services such as education and primary health care in addition to emergency cash and shelter assistance to affected families.
&ldquoWe once again need support to restore basic services in Jenin camp for Palestine Refugees and help them rebuild their lives and livelihoods&rdquo Bouloukos affirmed.
He added that mental health needs must be addressed through &ldquopsychosocial support to Palestinian refugees and first responders.&rdquo
