Hamas spokesman Mohamed Hamada has called on the Palestinian people to continue defending and protecting the Aqsa Mosque describing what the holy site is being exposed to as &ldquoextremely dangerous.&rdquo
In press remarks on Wednesday spokesmen Hamada accused the Israeli occupation state of accelerating its attempts to Judaize Jerusalem and divide the Aqsa Mosque temporally and spatially warning of Israeli efforts to impose new faits accomplis on the ground.
He affirmed that the Palestinian people would remain faithful to the Aqsa Mosque and would continue to defend it against Israeli desecration.
In a related incident hundreds of extremist Jewish settlers participated in the Israeli flag march on Wednesday evening in the Old City of Jerusalem to mark what they call the destruction of the temple.
According to local sources Israeli ministers and Knesset members including far-right security minister Itamar Ben Gvir participated in the march.
