The Israeli authorities forced a Jerusalemite citizen and his son to self-demolish their residential apartments in Jabal Mukaber neighborhood south of Occupied Jerusalem on Sunday afternoon under the pretext of being built without Israeli permit.
According to a local source Muammar Khader Jaabis and his son Muhammad self-demolished their apartments to avoid the demolition fees.
Clashes also erupted in the town in protest against the Israeli demolition policy.
Meanwhile a Palestinian young man was detained near the Bab al-Amoud Square in Occupied Jerusalem.
In Ramallah several tear-gas inhalation cases were reported as clashes broke out in al-Mughayyir village after being violently stormed by the Israeli army.
