A horde of extremist Jewish settlers wreaked havoc on swaths of agricultural land planted with different crops in southern al-Khalil after they released their sheep into fields belonging to local farmers on Sunday.
Local official Fuaad al-Amour said that armed settlers stormed cultivated fields belonging to citizens from Maghayir al-Abeed and Fateh Sidr communities near al-Zuwaidin community in eastern Yatta.
Amour added that the settlers deliberately let their sheep graze in the fields and destroy the crops and fences around the lands.
He also said that settlers put nails on the roads leading to areas in Masafer Yatta to obstruct the movement of Palestinian vehicles.
