The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) on Thursday extended the travel ban of the Jerusalemite activist Hanadi Halawani for five months.
The IOA issued a travel ban order against activist Halawani after summoning her for investigation on Thursday morning.
Activist Halawani was arrested and issued with travel bans several times. She had been deported from the Al-Aqsa Mosque for a total period of eight years.
Halawani had warned that Israel is trying to impose a new fait accompli on the Al-Aqsa Mosque by allowing Jewish settlers to commemorate the so-called destruction of the temple at the Mosque.
&ldquoThe Israeli police evicted the Al-Aqsa Mosque from Muslim worshippers and deported Jerusalemite activists from the Mosque to facilitate the Jewish settlers&rsquo raid into the holy site to commemorate the so-called destruction of the temple&rdquo Halawani underlined.
