A number of Palestinian citizens were injured on Thursday evening during a raid by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) to the northeast of the West Bank city of Jenin.
Local sources reported that many Palestinian citizens suffered breathing problems after IOF soldiers fired stun grenades and tear gas bombs at Palestinian houses in Jalbun village which triggered clashes.
Meanwhile IOF soldiers intensified their presence in Ya&rsquobad and Nazlet Zeid villages southwest of Jenin.
Moreover Israeli soldiers carried out large-scale search operations after storming Rummanah and Anin villages west of Jenin.
In another development the IOF detained the principal of Shaab Al-Batm school in addition to a number of teachers at a military checkpoint near the entrance of at-Tuwani village in Masafer Yatta to the south of al-Khalil according to local sources.
Earlier on Wednesday the IOF confiscated excavation equipment working in the reclamation of a Palestinian land belonging to the Palestinian citizen Sami al-Alami in Beit Ummar village north of al-Khalil.
