The Hamas Movement has called for mass protests on the coming Friday and Sunday throughout Palestine the Arab and Muslim world and across the globe to demand the opening of the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and the Gaza Strip and halting the genocidal war on the blockaded enclave.
In a statement on Thursday Hamas called on Palestinians throughout the homeland and outside and all the members of the Arab and Islamic nation and the free people of the world to intensify the popular mobilization in the coming days and to demonstrate actively for the sake of opening the Rafah crossing in order to bring in humanitarian aids medicines and fuel to save the lives of civilians women and children in the besieged Gaza Strip.
Hamas said that “This call comes in light of the heinous massacres and genocidal war committed by the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) and its fascist government and Nazi army against our Palestinian people including defenseless civilians children and women.”
The statement also highlighted that this call comes with the continued closure of the crossings and Israeli denial with American and Western support of the entry of fuel and urgent relief and medical materials through the Rafah crossing. It also follows the announcement of the collapse of the health system in the Strip which puts Gaza at the risk of a deeper humanitarian catastrophe.
The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have been waging a Nazi holocaust in the Gaza Strip Since October 7 leading so far to the death of over 6500 Palestinians mostly children and women the injury of around 18000 others the displacement of 1.4 million citizens and the destruction of tens of thousands of housing units in addition to cutting off supplies to Gaza including food water fuel and medicine.
