As Israel’s genocide in the Gaza Strip entered its 23rd day on Sunday the death toll climbed to over 8000 martyrs and the number of the injured to over 19743 people according to latest reports amid intensifying Israeli airstrikes last night and today.
According to the ministry of health in Gaza that 70 percent of the fatalities in Gaza are women and children.
The occupation army has been committing new massacres against civilians and intensifying its raids on dozens of inhabited homes since last night and today morning across the Gaza Strip resulting in a large number of martyrs and injuries.
In retaliation Palestinian resistance fighters fired volleys of rockets at Israeli settlements and cities today and fended off Israeli attempts to infiltrate border areas in the east and north of Gaza.
A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that despite the intensive Israeli bombardment the resistance continued to shower Israeli areas around Gaza with rockets.
Al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas for its part said that its fighters continued to confront and attack infiltrating Israeli troops in the northwest of Beit Lahia.
In a communiqué al-Qassam Brigades said that a group of its fighters clashed with Israeli forces in the northwest of Beit Lahia attacked their vehicles with different projectiles and carried out sniper attacks adding that a number of Israeli soldiers were injured during the skirmishes.
