A new Israeli air attack on Wednesday hit apartment blocks in a residential area of the densely-populated Jabalia refugee camp killing and wounding hundreds. The attack is the second of its kind to hit the area in less than 24 hours.
The Civil Defense spokesman in the Gaza Strip confirmed that hundreds of people were killed but there are fears the toll could rise as dozens of victims are still under the rubble.
Commenting on the second Jabalia massacre the Hamas Movement said that “the Israeli occupation is committing a new massacre today again in the Jabalia camp in the Al-Faluja area less than 24 hours after the first massacre after a long series of horrific massacres in the Gaza Strip which will remain a disgrace to humanity and the international community.”
Hamas renewed its “call on the Arab and Islamic countries and the free voices of the international community to assume their political and moral responsibility to stop the Israeli fascist criminality that has exceeded all limits.”
