Israel is committing a bloody massacre in the Gaza Strip since the seventh of October and is inflicting its brutality on civilians.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Wednesday that the number of martyrs among women and children reached 70% of the total number of martyrs.
Targeting and terrorizing civilians has been one of the goals of the Israeli war machine since the catastrophe of the occupation of Palestine “Nakba” in 1948 when the Zionist gangs committed hundreds of massacres and displaced hundreds of thousands of Palestinians.
Today after 74 years since the catastrophe the Israeli war machine renews its bloodshed by committing the worst collective massacres in the Gaza Strip as an expression of its failure and frustration and to put pressure on the resistance which humiliated the Israeli military in the battlefield.
Revenge against civilians
Dr. Mohsen Saleh Director-General of the Zaytouna Center for Studies and Consultations believes that throughout the colonial history colonizers resort to revenge against civilians including women children and the elderly and they destroy their homes places of worship schools and property because they know that this is a weak point of the people in order to force revolutions to surrender and submit and to resume colonization after destroying the popular support of the revolution.
Saleh said in an article titled “Palestinian Resistance and the Dilemma of Causing Civilian Casualties” that the basic equation for liberation is for the resistance and the popular environment to continue and to prove to the colonizer that pressuring civilians will not stop the revolution but rather strengthen it and ignite it and that there is no solution for it except leaving.
Occupation based on violence
Saleh affirmed that the “Zionist project” is by nature an aggressive settlement expansionist project that seeks to maintain land and get rid of the population and in its mentality there is no place in Palestine for two states or for two equal peoples.
He pointed out that the “Zionist ideology” is based on violence and it believes that what cannot be achieved by force can be achieved by more force.
Saleh explained that the establishment of the Zionist entity (Israel) came after committing dozens of massacres and implementing ethnic cleansing and displacement against the Palestinian people with the destruction of more than 530 Palestinian villages and communities. “The massacres against the people and Judaization of the land have remained a natural behavior for the Zionists over the past 75 years” he added.
Resistance is more feasible
Saleh stated that the settlement path was the easiest and fastest means for the “Zionist occupiers” to Judaize Palestine and it left the people with no choice but resistance to stop the occupation’s projects to achieve complete control over the land and holy sites.
He continued “Resistance has its high costs but it fulfills Allah’s promise of victory to the believers and it fulfills the divine decree of the destruction of the oppressors and mischief-makers.”
Resistance also exposes the brutality of the occupation and exposes it regionally and internationally revealing its true nature that it tries to hide and undermines its security and economy. As a result resistance refutes the idea of the occupation’s existence as an oasis of security and prosperity and an attractive environment for Jews around the world he opined.
Resistance united with its people
Saleh said that the resistance in Gaza is united with its people and its political military and organizational leadership live among the people and their aspirations and its popular base is the widest in the Gaza Strip compared to others and it experiences what everyone experiences.
So far in the Battle of the Flood of Al-Aqsa five members of the family of the leader of the Hamas Movement Ismail Haneyya three members of the Political Bureau of Hamas the chairman of the Shura Council of Hamas in the Strip Osama Al-Muzaini the brother of the general commander of Al-Qassam Brigades Mohammed Al-Deif and his nephew and grandniece as well as member of the Military Council of the Al-Qassam Brigades Ayman Nofal have been martyred so far in the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle.
Among the convoys of martyrs the sons of members of the armed Council Abu Anas al-Ghandour and Abu Anas Shabaneh (his sons) and Abu Moaz Aqel (his son) and Abu Amr Ouda (his son) were martyred The son of a member of the Political Bureau of Hamas Nizar Awadallah and the son of a member of the Political Bureau of Hamas Abu Hamed Abu Aoun and his three grandchildren as well as many others were martyred.
