Mamoun Ezzo Afana was a Palestinian youth well-known for his distinguished personality. He has recently obtained the top rank in dental and oral surgery licensing in Abu Dhabi.
Last June was one of the happiest months in his life as he opened his own dental clinic and got engaged to his colleague Doctor Maha Abu Youssef.
On his birthday which marked the seventh of July he posted on Facebook: “On this day my paradise (my mother) brought me into this world; it’s when I took my first breath and she heard my first cry. Happy birthday to me and to you (Mom) as we were born in the same day and the same month but not the same year.”
With words full of hope he wrote in his post “On that day I was born. I enjoyed fresh air and welcomed a new life. Since then days have passed so quickly to find myself here today.”
However the Israeli killing machine had another opinion as the dreams of the groom to be and the fresh graduate doctor were all terminated when Israeli airstrikes bombarded his house on November 1 leading to his martyrdom along with all of his family members.
Since October 7 Israel has been waging a heinous genocide in Gaza Strip via air ground and sea attacks resulting in more than 40000 martyrs wounded and missing people.
