Sunday 19-November-2023

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly denounced the mass massacres and successive war crimes committed by the Israeli occupation army the latest of which was the heinous massacre at the UNRWA-sponsored Tal al-Zaatar and al-Fakhoura Schools in the northern Gaza Strip.

OIC also condemned the heinous crime committed by the Israeli army at Al-Shifa Medical Complex the forcible evacuation of displaced civilians patients and medical personnel and its conversion into a closed military base.

OIC described the Israeli army’s practices at Al-Shifa Hospital as “part of its ethnic cleansing and genocidal crimes against the Palestinian civilians in Gaza.”

OIC also condemned the Israeli aerial bombing of a residential building in the West Bank refugee camp of Balata in Nablus which claimed the lives of five citizens and injured others.

It considered the attack on that building as “part of the daily crimes that are committed by the Israeli army in the West Bank in flagrant violation of the international humanitarian law.”

OIC warned of the escalating attacks and systematic terrorism that are carried out by Israeli forces and extremist settler groups across the West Bank adding that those attacks have led to the killing of more than 200 Palestinian citizens in different areas since October 7.

OIC reiterated its appeal to the international community especially the UN Security Council to shoulder its responsibility towards Gaza and take urgent action to put an immediate end to the brutal Israeli aggression against the population.

In a related context advisor to Yemen’s president Abdul-Malik Al-Mekhlafi has condemned the Israeli genocide in Gaza stressing that the world would be calmer and more peaceful without the Israeli occupation state.

“Certainly the world would have been better more humane and less violent and criminal without the presence of this terrorist and racist Zionist entity” Mekhlafi said in remarks on his X page.
