Occupation detains more than 75 Palestinians in 3 days

Occupied Jerusalem – Israeli occupation forces (IOF) continue to breach the ceasefire agreement by going into occupied areas and arresting more Palestinians at the time a prisoner exchange deal is being negotiated. More 75 Palestinians have been arrested in the past three days.

Israeli radio reported on Thursday that IOF troops arrested more than 45 Palestinians in various parts of the West Bank in the previous hours according to an IOF spokesman.

The IOF spokesman said that 19 were arrested in Bethlehem district 4 in Nablus 8 in Ramallah and 3 in al-Khalil adding that the detainees were taken to interrogation centers near their home towns.

Furthermore five were arrested on Thursday morning in Nablus and Balata refugee camps two were arrested in Ya’bad refugee center and 4 secondary school pupils were arrested in Qarawat Bani Zeid.

More than 24 Palestinians were rounded up Friday at dawn in Nablus and two nearby villages. Those arrested are accused of being affiliated with the Hamas movement.

Also on Friday 16 Palestinian young men were arrested in dawn raids of Palestinian homes in the Bethlehem district.
