Europeans for Al-Quds organization said that it documented 622 Israeli violations, committed in the past month of June in the occupied city of Jerusalem, noting that they included 17 types of human rights violations.

The organization said in its monthly report that most of the Israeli violations were incursions and raids at a rate of 56.4%, followed by arrest operations at a rate of 12.1%.

The report monitored 33 shooting incidents and assaults by Israeli occupation police and forces in the neighborhoods of occupied Jerusalem, which resulted in the martyrdom of the child Muhammad Murad Ahmad Hoshiya, 12, from the town of Qatana, after being shot by Israeli gunfire in Ramallah. Two others were injured and dozens suffered from suffocation, in addition to at least 16 citizens who were beaten and abused.

The report documented carrying out 351 Israeli storming operations into the towns and neighborhoods of Jerusalem, during which 75 citizens were arrested, including 11 children, seven others were summoned, and six people were subjected to house arrest.

The report also documented 20 demolition and confiscation operations that affected 20 residential units, with four house owners forced to self-demolish their homes, and three other facilities, in addition to issuing a number of demolition notices against other homes and facilities.

The report stated that Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) persist in enforcing a demographic change in the city of Jerusalem, pointing out that Israeli occupation municipality announced its intention to seize vast areas of land in Wadi al-Jouz neighborhood for the establishment of Talmudic gardens.

According to the report, 5,149 Israeli settlers and hundreds of the so called “Israeli tourists” participated in the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque, which was repeated over the course of 22 days, in addition to seven other violations, most notably storming Al-Aqsa Mosque twice.

The IOA continued its policy of deportation from Al-Aqsa Mosque or the city of Jerusalem, as 10 deportation decisions were handed to Palestinians in June.

The Europeans for Al-Quds documented 10 attacks carried out by fanatic settlers, who assaulted Palestinians and their property amid acts of incitement.

The report monitored the erection of 51 fixed and makeshift Israeli checkpoints, and nine violations related to the freedom of journalistic work and public freedoms.

The Israeli forces continued to violate the economic, social and cultural rights of Jerusalemites, as many violations and fines were imposed on many shop owners during June.

The IOA also prevented 20 Jerusalemite students from sitting for high school exams this year, because of their arrest.

As for the Israeli violations against Christians, the IOA informed the churches of the Holy City, in addition to churches in Jaffa, Nazareth, and Ramla, that they would begin to enforce legal measures against them, which have been frozen for 6 years, under the pretext of unpaid taxes.

The organization renewed its demand to end the Israeli occupation of the city of Jerusalem and to stop all violations against its natives.

It called on the international community to assume its responsibilities in this regard, stressing the illegality of any de facto measures taken by the IOA in the city of Jerusalem which has been occupied since 1967.
