Palestinian prisoner Munadel Infiaat entered on Saturday day six of the hunger strike he staged to protest the punitive measures taken against him by the Israeli prison service.
According to Muhjat al-Quds Foundation prisoner Infiaat demands an end to all the provocative practices and punitive measures including solitary confinement he has been exposed to since he was rejailed following the Gilboa prison break in September 2021.
Munadel Infiaat is one of six prisoners who succeed in escaping from the high-security jail of Gilboa through a tunnel on September 6 2021. By September 19 those prisoners had been re-captured.
