A horde of extremist Jewish settlers went on the rampage through swaths of cultivated land in Masafer Yatta area south of al-Khalil destroying many crops and trees on Wednesday.
According to local sources settlers from the illegal settlement of Mitzpe Yair in the east of Yatta wreaked havoc on plots of land belonging to Palestinian farmers from the Bedouin community of Qawawis.
The sources explained that those settlers destroyed multiple olive trees and let their sheep graze in fields planted with wheat and barley which caused considerable damage to the crops.
In another incident a horde of settlers destroyed on the same day dozens of olive saplings in an agricultural area near Qusra village south of Nablus.
Local official Ghassan Daghlas who monitors colonial settlement activities in the northern West Bank said that a group of settlers uprooted over 30 olive saplings and damaged irrigation pipelines on a plot of land belonging to a farmer called Mahmoud Odeh.
