The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Wednesday kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens from their homes during raids on homes in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
According to local sources the IOF broke into homes in Bethlehem and kidnaped three citizens from al-Deheisha refugee camp and the towns of al-Khader and Teqoa.
In Jenin the IOF stormed Fahma village and kidnaped a citizen from his home and detained and interrogated another one for about two hours before releasing him.
Meanwhile the IOF intensified its presence in areas around villages and towns in the south and west of Jenin and set up ambushes for citizens in Rummanah village with no reported arrests.
In Ramallah the IOF kidnaped two teenagers from Ni’lin town after raiding their homes.
In al-Khalil the IOF reportedly kidnaped at least 10 citizens during raids on homes in different towns and villages.
Israeli forces also set up several checkpoints at the northern entrances of al-Khalil and the entrances of Sa’ir Dura and Halhul towns where they embarked on searching Palestinian vehicles and checking IDs of passengers.
In Nablus local sources said that the IOF failed to arrest two wanted resistance fighters following a violent raid on Balata refugee camp.
One young man was critically injured in his head by IOF gunfire during clashes in the camp.
In Occupied Jerusalem Israeli police forces kidnaped three young men following raids on homes in Beit Duqqu village west of the holy city.
Two other young men were reportedly assaulted and detained by Israeli police officers in Sur Baher town southeast of Jerusalem.
