A Palestinian young man was seriously injured after Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at local youths in Al-Bireh city in the West Bank on Friday afternoon.
Local sources said that ambulance crews were able to transfer the injured youth to a nearby hospital in Ramallah.
Ynet Hebrew website reported that the young man was seriously wounded by Israeli gunfire during clashes that erupted in the city.
Earlier Friday a Palestinian young man was injured in the chest and another detained after IOF troops stormed Jalazoun refugee camp in Ramallah.
Since the start of 2023 nine Palestinians were killed by Israeli army including three minors.
