The Palestinian Media Forum has condemned the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) for arresting on Thursday morning journalist Abdul-Mohsen Shalalda after raiding his home in Sa’ir town east of al-Khalil.
Journalist Shalalda had been arrested by the IOF several times before and suffered from a bullet injury as he was covering clashes between Palestinian youths and Israeli soldiers in Halhul town a few years ago.
In a statement the Media Forum said that Israel’s ongoing violations against journalists are aimed to prevent the world from knowing the heinous crimes its forces commit against the Palestinian people.
The Forum appealed to the international human rights organizations to take action to curb Israel’s violations against the Palestinian media and journalists.
