The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) attacked on Monday evening Palestinian citizens and their stores in the Old City of al-Khalil.
Local sources said that Israeli soldiers assaulted a number of citizens and fired stun grenades into their stores which caused severe damage to their contents.
They added that the IOF also forced the storeowners to shut down their businesses.
Meanwhile hordes of extremist Jewish settlers were walking around in the same area while verbally attacking local residents.
The owners of businesses in the Old City of al-Khalil suffer continuously from attacks and violations by Israeli soldiers and settlers.
