The Hamas Movement has said that the Israeli intent to demolish al-Bustan neighborhood in the east Jerusalem district of Silwan is further evidence of the Israeli occupation government’s fascism.
In press remarks on Tuesday Hamas spokesman Mohamed Hamadah accused the right-wing Israeli government of “rushing towards more crimes and violations against Jerusalem its people and the Aqsa Mosque.”
Spokesman Hamadah said that the Israeli government feels that the unprecedented support from the international community and the Arab countries that normalized their ties with it gives it the green light to escalate its violations in the holy city.
The spokesman stressed that the Israeli government would be delusional if it thought that the Palestinian people would yield to its practices and remain silent holding it fully responsible for the consequences of its actions in the holy city.
He affirmed that the Palestinian resistance would not stand idly by watching such “unbridled Israeli brutality and Nazism.”
