IOA extends detention of Jerusalemite activist Hinadi Halawani

The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) extended on Wednesday the detention of Hinadi Halawani a noted Jerusalemite teacher and activist.

Local sources in Occupied Jerusalem said that an Israeli court extended Halawani’s detention until next Friday.

The Israeli occupation police kidnaped Halawani at dawn Tuesday after breaking into and ransacking her home in the holy city and confiscating her cellphones.

Recently she received an Israeli court order banning her travel for six renewable months.

Halawani is a noted Jerusalemite activist and one of the Aqsa Mosque teachers who are exposed to constant persecution and detention by the Israeli police and intelligence.

Because of her supportive positions on the Aqsa Mosque she has been summoned arrested interrogated and assaulted by the Israeli police several times before. The police also banned her entry to the Mosque and her travel abroad many times.

Hinadi Halawani is one of many Jerusalemite women whose medical insurance has been revoked because of their activities in defense of the Aqsa Mosque.
