The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fired teargas bombs at Palestinian protesters on the eastern borders of the Gaza Strip on Friday afternoon.
Local sources said that IOF soldiers fired teargas bombs at the protesters who gathered in the Malka border area east of Gaza City. Many of them suffered breathing problems as a result.
Commenting on the incident an Israeli military spokesman claimed that a group of young men tried to cross the security barrier.
Earlier on Friday the IOF launched multiple air strikes on the blockaded Gaza Strip.
