Dozens of Palestinians injured in renewed Israeli raids

Tens of Palestinian citizens were injured or suffered breathing problems on Friday during Israeli occupation army raids in several areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem.

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fired tear gas bombs and rubber-coated metal bullets at Palestinian citizens in Beit Dajan village east of the West Bank city of Nablus and Beita village south of Nablus which triggered clashes.

33 Palestinian citizens were injured in Beita village including 10 in Jabal Sobeih area in addition to 22 cases of breathing difficulty and another injury by rubber-coated metal bullets at the entrance of Beita according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.

It added that three Palestinian citizens were injured by IOF-fired rubber-coated metal bullets in Kafr Qaddoum village in Qalqilya while three others suffered breathing problems in Beit Dajan.

In another development the Israeli police fired stun grenades and tear gas bombs at the funeral procession of the Palestinian martyr Yusuf Muheisen in Al-Ram town north of Jerusalem.

Earlier on Thursday 22-year-old Muheisen succumbed to serious injuries he sustained during clashes that erupted in Al-Ram town after the Israeli police quelled a Palestinian march that condemned the Israeli massacre in Jenin.
