A Palestinian young man on Sunday succumbed to a serious injury he sustained during the Jenin massacre committed by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last Thursday.
24-year-old Omar As-Saadi was proclaimed dead on Sunday after he was seriously wounded by the IOF live bullets in the stomach on Thursday according to the Palestinian ministry of health.
It underlined that the death of Saa’di brought the number of Palestinian citizens killed since the beginning of 2023 to 35 mostly from the West Bank city of Jenin.
The Palestinian prisoners society mourned the death of martyr As-Saadi pointing out that he was an ex-prisoner who spent three years in Israeli prisons.
For its part the Hamas Movement extended its deepest condolences to the martyr’s family stressing that the Palestinian people and resistance will continue defending their lands and sanctities until full liberation.
Earlier on Thursday the IOF massacred nine Palestinian citizens including an old woman and injured 20 others in Jenin City and its refugee camp. The death toll of the massacre thus rose to ten.
