The Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) ordered on Sunday the confiscation of hundreds of Palestinian agricultural dunums southwest of Bethlehem.
Local activist Hassan Brijieh stated that the IOA notified the confiscation of 490 dunums of Nahalin and Al-Jabaa lands in favor of expanding Alon Shvut and Geva’ot illegal settlements.
Israel’s settlement policy in the occupied Palestinian territories is illegal under international law particularly international humanitarian law including the Fourth Geneva Convention and contravenes UN Security Council resolutions.
