An Israeli court issued on Tuesday a verdict ordering the imprisonment of a Palestinian child for several months and imposing a financial penalty on him.
According to Asra Media Office an Israeli court sentenced 16-year-old Omar Qattawi a resident of Balata refugee camp in Nablus to seven months in jail and fined him 2000 shekels.
Qattawi a high school student was kidnaped by the Israeli occupation forces from his home in Balata camp on November 22 2022.
There are over 160 Palestinian children in different Israeli jails suffering from maltreatment and harsh incarceration conditions.
