A Palestinian young man was shot and killed on Saturday evening after Jewish settlers fired live bullets at him west of the West Bank city of Salfit.
27-year-old Mithqal Rayyan succumbed to a serious injury in the head after Jewish settlers fired live bullets at him in Qarawat Bani Hassan village according to the Palestinian ministry of health.
Eyewitnesses reported that Rayyan was proclaimed dead after he was fatally injured in the head during a Jewish settlers’ attack in the northern area of Qarawat Bani Hassan village.
The death of martyr Rayyan brought the number of Palestinian citizens killed by Israeli army and Jewish settlers since the beginning of 2023 to 46 including nine children and an old woman in addition to a prisoner who died of deliberate medical neglect in the Israeli jails.
