The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) showered Palestinian shepherds and swaths of land with tear gas canisters in the southeast of the besieged Gaza Strip on Saturday morning.
According to local sources the IOF fired tear gas canisters at a group of shepherds as they were grazing their sheep in a border area near the security fence in the east of the town of Abasan Al-Jadida in Khan Yunis.
The IOF also carried out a teargas attack on swaths of cultivated land in the east of al-Qarara town northeast of Khan Yunis with no known reason.
Under an inhumane siege the Israeli army keeps attacking — sometimes injuring or killing — farmers and fishermen almost on a daily basis with no regard for any mediated ceasefire understandings over Gaza or even the international law.
