The Israeli occupation police sealed off at dawn Sunday a Palestinian house in at-Tur neighborhood east of the Old City of Jerusalem belonging to the family of martyr Hussein Qaraqe as a prelude to demolishing it.
The Israeli police already forced the family of martyr Qaraqe to evacuate its home in the at-Tur neighborhood on Saturday.
According to local sources a large number of Israeli police forces stormed the neighborhood and cordoned off the area around the house before welders embarked on sealing the house’s windows and entrances with metal sheets.
Meanwhile local youths clashed with the police forces and attacked them with stones and firecrackers.
Martyr Hussein Qaraqe 31 was shot dead by police officers near the illegal settlement of Ramot in western Jerusalem on Friday after he rammed his car into Jewish settlers killing two of them and injuring five others. One of the wounded settlers was announced dead on Saturday.
