The medical aid convoy Miles of Smiles arrived in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday through the Rafah Border Crossing.
Issam Youssef general coordinator of the Miles of Smiles convoy said that the convoy carries several types of medical supplies adding that a relief delegation of six participants from different countries will arrive in the Gaza Strip.
He welcomed the position of the Egyptian authorities who approved the entry of the relief delegation and the aid convoy to the besieged Strip.
Since 2009 Miles of Smiles has been sending convoys of humanitarian aid to support the healthcare sector in Gaza due to the acute shortage of medicines in the besieged enclave.
