Clashes were reported between Israeli occupation forces (IOF) and Palestinian protestors on Thursday after IOF soldiers attacked Palestinian citizens in several areas of the West Bank.
A number of Palestinian citizens were injured after IOF soldiers fired rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas bombs at Palestinian protestors who condemned the Israeli massacre which killed more than ten Palestinian citizens in Nablus yesterday.
A Palestinian young man was seriously injured by the IOF live bullets in the al-Arroub refugee camp north of the West Bank city of al-Khalil.
Meanwhile clashes were reported between Palestinian youths and IOF soldiers at the entrance of the Al-Shuhada’ street in the Bab al-Zawiya area in the center of al-Khalil and at the entrance of the town of Sa’ir to the north of al-Khalil.
Moreover IOF soldiers set up a military checkpoint at the eastern entrance of Dura town south of al-Khalil imposing restrictions on the movement of Palestinian citizens’ vehicles.
In a related development several Palestinian citizens suffered breathing problems after IOF soldiers stormed the neighborhood of al-Baqiaa west of Taquu town southeast of the West Bank city of Bethlehem.
Furthermore IOF soldiers fired tear gas bombs at Palestinian citizens at the entrance of Nabi Saleh village northwest of the West Bank city of Ramallah facilitating Jewish settlers’ raid into the village.
In another development IOF arrested the Palestinian young man Abdullah Salim after firing rubber-coated-metal bullets and tear gas bombs at Palestinian youths in Azzoun town east of the West Bank city of Qalqilya.
Clashes were also reported in al-Isawiyya Ram and Abu Dis towns in Jerusalem.
Meanwhile Palestinian youths set rubber tires on fire along the eastern Gaza borders starting from Karm Abu Salem east of Rafah governorate to the Beit Hanoun (Erez) crossing north of the Gaza Strip in support of Nablus and to condemn the recent Israeli massacre.
Earlier today a general strike was declared in the West Bank Occupied Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip in solidarity with Nablus and to condemn the Israeli massacre in which 11 Palestinians were killed and more than 100 were injured.
