The death toll from the Israeli massacre in Nablus City rose to 11 Palestinian martyrs after a new citizen was pronounced dead on Wednesday evening.
The Palestinian health ministry said that 66-year-old Annan Shawkat died of asphyxiation after his exposure to high concentrations of tear gas during the Israeli military attack on Nablus on Wednesday.
10 Palestinians mostly civilians were killed and at least 102 others were wounded including six in serious condition after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed Nablus in the morning and used live ammunition indiscriminately during its raid.
Israeli special forces infiltrated on Wednesday morning into the eastern market of Nablus and encircled a house in the Old City where they exchanged fire with resistance fighters before other backup troops stormed the city from different directions.
Soon later the IOF reportedly used anti-tank projectiles to attack the house destroying large parts of it. Two resistance fighters were killed during this attack.
The Hebrew media for its part quoted Israeli official sources as saying that two soldiers were injured during the military campaign in Nablus.
