The Malaysian ministry of foreign affairs has condemned the Israeli military aggression in Nablus City that claimed the lives of 11 citizens and injured over 100 others last Wednesday.
In a statement on Saturday the ministry said that such heinous acts clearly constitute crimes against humanity calling for holding Israeli leaders accountable for them.
The ministry called upon the international community to stop turning a blind eye to ongoing violence and brutality perpetrated by Israeli forces in the occupied territories.
The ministry urged in particular the UN Security Council to assume its responsibilities towards the Palestinian people who “deserve peace security and justice.”
It reiterated Malaysia’s unwavering position in support of the Palestinian people affirming that they deserve an independent state based on the pre-1967 borders and with Jerusalem as its capital.
