The Palestinian resistance factions have strongly denounced the Palestinian Authority (PA) leadership for sending a delegation to Jordan to participate in a security meeting with Israeli officials next Sunday.
In a statement on Saturday the factions described the intended PA participation in this meeting which will be attended by Arab parties as a “stab in the back of the Palestinian people and their sacrifices and a betrayal of the martyrs’ blood.”
They also said the participation in this meeting would bring shame and disgrace on the PA leadership and would show it as a partner in the international and Israeli efforts to circumvent the Palestinian people’s will and end their legitimate resistance.
They accused the PA leadership of persisting in hijacking the national decision-making and representation and working on achieving its own interests with no regard for the Palestinian people’s interests and rights.
They also described the participants in this meeting as “outcasts” and “departees from the national consensus” stressing that they represent only themselves.
