Israeli occupation forces (IOF) demolished a Palestinian house in Edhna town to the west of al-Khalil on Thursday morning.
Mohammed Awad the owner of the demolished house said that his 120-meter-square house accommodated eight of his family members.
He said that the IOF handed him a demolition notice two months ago and added that he tried via Israeli courts to revoke the decision and paid thousands of shekels but to no avail.
The Edhna mayor Jaber Tamizi said that the IOF had distributed notices for the demolition of 350 houses and industrial and agricultural structures in the village.
He pointed out that the IOF had recently escalated demolition notices and stop-work orders in the village noting that the Separation Wall passes through the village lands.
