Dozens of Jewish settlers stormed the Aqsa Mosque via the Magharaba Gate on Thursday and later in the afternoon.
According to the Islamic Endowments Department dozens of settlers entered the Mosque in groups and toured its courtyards under tight police guard.
During their tours at the Islamic holy site the settlers received lectures from rabbis about the alleged temple mount and a number of them performed Talmudic prayers in the eastern area of the Mosque and at some of its gates.
Meanwhile the Israeli occupation police imposed movement and entry restrictions on Muslim worshipers at the Aqsa Mosque’s entrances and gates.
Meanwhile Palestinians called for intensifying presence at the Mosque on Friday and in the Great Dawn Campaign to thwart the settlers’ incursions and their Judaization plans.
