The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped at dawn Sunday at least nine Palestinian citizens during raids in different West Bank areas.
According to local sources the IOF kidnaped a young man from Sinjar area in the south of al-Khalil City after encircling and raiding his home for about five hours and confiscating a vehicle belonging to him.
The IOF also kidnaped two other young men from al-Fawwar refugee camp and Sa’ir town in al-Khalil province after ransacking their homes.
In the morning Israeli forces prevented Palestinian vehicles from using the main road leading to al-Arroub refugee camp in northern al-Khalil.
In Ramallah the IOF kidnaped three teenagers from Beit Sira village.
Another young man was taken prisoner and his car was seized during an IOF raid in Turmus Ayya town northwest of Ramallah.
Meanwhile the IOF set up a makeshift checkpoint at the entrance of Nabi Saleh village in western Ramallah obstructing the movement of cars and citizens.
Two other young men were reportedly kidnaped by the IOF from Nablus and east Jerusalem.
