The Hamas Movement has condemned the Israeli attack on the international airport in the northern Syrian city of Aleppo.
In a press statement on Tuesday Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem underlined that Aleppo International Airport constitutes a main channel for the flow of aid to areas hit by last month’s earthquake.
Qassem stressed that attacking Aleppo International Airport reflects the Israeli inhumane practices that violate all international laws and conventions.
Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that Israeli warplanes fired missiles that hit Aleppo International Airport while flying over the Mediterranean Sea adding that the aerial strikes at dawn Tuesday “caused material damage to the airport and put it out of service.”
