Sheikh Ekrima Sabri the preacher of the Al-Aqsa Mosque has stressed that facilitating the repeated Jewish settlers’ incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque constitutes part of the Israeli Judaization plans.
In a press statement on Tuesday Sheikh Sabri said that Jewish settlers try to impose Talmudic rituals at Al-Aqsa Mosque by storming the holy site adding that such raids are protected by the Israeli police.
Earlier in the morning Jewish settlers including the extremist rabbi Yehuda Glick stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Purim provocatively touring its courtyards.
Meanwhile Israeli police arrested the Jerusalemite activist Nafisa Khweis from the Al-Wad Street area in the Old City of Jerusalem.
Extremist Jewish temple mount groups had called for storming the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday and Wednesday to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Purim.
