At least six Palestinians were injured after a group of Jewish settlers attacked Hawara town south of Nablus on Monday evening under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces (IOF).
Local sources affirmed that five locals including children suffered from teargas inhalation during the attack.
Another resident was hit in the head with a stone where he was immediately taken to hospital for treatment.
The sources affirmed that a settler opened fire at a Palestinian vehicle with no injuries reported.
Meanwhile a group of settlers uprooted 80 olive saplings in Yasuf town east of Salfit.
Head of the village council Saleh Yassin affirmed that settlers from the illegal settlement of Taffouh uprooted and damaged about 80 olive saplings in Khallet al-Rajm area east of the town.
Around 650000 Israeli settlers currently live in more than 130 settlements built since 1967 when Israel occupied the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
International law regards both the West Bank and East Jerusalem as occupied territories and considers all Israeli settlement-building activity there illegal.
