The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) attacked on Wednesday morning an agricultural area and fishermen in the east and west of the besieged Gaza Strip.
According to local sources Israeli soldiers opened machinegun fire from their posts at agricultural fields in a border area in the east of northern Gaza particularly in Beit Hanoun forcing farmers to avoid entering the area.
Meanwhile Israeli gunboats attacked fishermen and their boats with live ammunition during their presence within a few nautical miles off the shores of as-Sudaniya and al-Waha areas in western Beit Lahia and forced them to return ashore.
No one was reportedly hurt in the IOF shooting attacks.
Under an inhumane siege the Israeli army keeps attacking — sometimes injuring or killing — fishermen and farmers almost on a daily basis with no regard for any ceasefire understandings over Gaza or even the international law.
