The High Follow-Up Committee (HFC) for Arab Citizens in 1948 Occupied Palestine on Sunday called for commemorating the 47th anniversary of Land Day.
The HFC called on Palestinian citizens in all the Palestinian villages and cities to take to the streets of Sakhnin city north of 1948 Occupied Palestine on the 30th of March to mark Land Day.
The committee had also called for participation in “Negev day” on the 25th of March as part of celebrating Land Day and in solidarity with Palestinian people in Negev.
It condemned the repeated Israeli massacres perpetrated against the Palestinian people on a daily basis calling on the international community to assume its responsibility and provide protection for the Palestinian people.
For his part the Head of the committee Mohammad Barakeh stressed the importance of confronting the crime of apartheid adopted by the fascist Israeli government against the Palestinian people.
He warned of the Israeli incitement campaigns that call for escalating the Israeli raids into the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the Holy Month of Ramadan.
In a related development the Association for the Defense of the Rights of the Displaced in Umm al-Fahm City north of 1948 occupied Palestine called on Palestinians to take part in the return march next April to demand the return to Lajjun village which was depopulated in 1948.
