The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) said that three soldiers were injured when a new Israeli attack targeted areas in Tartus and Hama on Sunday morning.
Citing a military source SANA reported that a “volley of missiles” was launched just after 7 a.m. from the direction of northern Lebanon adding that the attack also caused some material damage.
The source affirmed that the Syrian air defense forces managed to shoot down some of the missiles.
On March 7 the Israeli occupation army launched an air raid on Syria’s Aleppo airport damaging its runway and taking it out of service.
On February 19 Israeli aerial attacks targeted residential areas in Damascus killing at least five people and wounding 15 according to Syrian state news.
On January 2 the Syrian army said Israeli missiles targeted the capital’s international airport putting it out of service and killing two soldiers.
