The Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails entered on Monday day 28 of their disobedience steps which they staged in protest at the arbitrary punitive measures that were taken against them recently at the behest of far-right security minister Itamar Ben Gvir.
Today the protest steps include refusing meals and delaying their Al-Bosta journey.
Earlier Sunday the prisoners’ steps included wearing the prison uniform holding sessions to discuss the next steps and staging protests inside cells at nine o’clock in the evening.
The Captive Movement had declared a set of protest steps in all Israeli prisons last month that include a mass disobedience and an open hunger strike next Ramadan.
Around 4780 Palestinian citizens including 29 women 160 children and 941 administrative detainees are currently held in Israeli prisons.
