Dozens of Palestinian citizens suffered from their exposure to tear gas when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) attacked them in Qarawat Bani Hassan town west of Salfit on Wednesday.
Qarawat Bani Hassan mayor Ibrahim Assi said that the IOF stormed the western area of the town while randomly firing tear gas canisters and stun grenades at local residents.
The IOF repeatedly storms the town and chases and harasses local farmers and workers at the pretext of their presence and work in Area C of the West Bank which is under Israeli military control.
Meanwhile Israeli soldiers obstructed on the same day the movement of Palestinian citizens at a makeshift checkpoint they set up on the Jenin-Nablus road particularly near the evacuated settlement of Homesh in southern Jenin.
In another incident the Israeli occupation army forced two Palestinian brothers to pay 11000 shekels to have their tractors back after they had been seized by Israeli forces in late February.
