A new summit will be held in the coming days in Sharm el-Sheikh Egypt under the US auspices amid the participation of the Palestinian Authority and Israeli delegations Hebrew media sources revealed Tuesday.
The sources pointed out that the Israeli delegation will include the head of the Shin Bet and the coordinator of Israeli government activities in the West Bank.
Jordanian and Egyptian delegations will also participate in the summit.
The Sharm el-Sheikh summit comes only two weeks after the Aqaba security summit with the aim of deescalating the surging violence ahead of the holy month of Ramadan.
The Hamas Movement had strongly condemned the PA participation in the security meeting held in the Jordanian city of Aqaba “in the presence of representatives of the Israeli occupation state which has been escalating its aggression and appalling crimes against the Palestinian people the latest of which was the Nablus’ massacre.”
